Giving
At Christ Church, worship and ministry is sustained by your prayers and by people’s generosity with their resources – their time, their energy, their skill, and their financial generosity. Christ Church is not a wealthy church and is entirely funded by the generosity of the congregation, and we are very grateful for all they give. We encourage all our members to join our stewardship giving scheme and give regularly, which helps us to budget and to plan our activities. We are also incredibly grateful to visitors who feel able to donate when they are with us for a special service or an event. If you are a UK Tax payer Gift Aiding your contribution allows us to claim back from the government another 25p for every £1 donated.
The Parish Giving Scheme is is a direct debit service that enables generosity and giving in a simple way.
It allows you to manage your giving (monthly, quarterly or annually) and to choose to gift aid your donation or to increase it annually in line with inflation. It allows us to manage all our donations well and to collect gift aid regularly.
