Christ Church, Colliers Wood
Christ Church is now a Fairtrade Church.

Gilly Pawson welcomes you to her parish in Colliers Wood, a thriving and diverse community in South West London.

Christ Church upholds a family environment welcoming
parishioners of all ages to join in the weekly worship
and enjoy the friendly atmosphere. The impressive
church interior is bright and airy throughout the year,
with detailed stained glass windows and fresh flowers.

The parish population reaches almost 12,000 and sits
within the diocese of Southwark, which covers 300
other parishes in and around Kingston Upon Thames.

The church was built in 1874, giving it a great sense of
history. Despite severe damage during the Second
World War the church still stands as a prominent pillar
of the local Christian community.

You can read Gilly's reflection for June and July 2008 here.
