Thought for the Week 29 April, by David Marsden

Thought for the Week 29 April, by David Marsden

Dear Lord,
you have allowed us to receive.
We have not always spent this wisely.
Please now teach us how to give, to our brothers and sisters around the world.

Lord, I have come into your presence as a profane man.  Thanks to my wife, I have been pulled away from arrogance, indulgence and profanity.  My wife taught me the Holy Mary in 2012.  She gave me my first Rosary.
It has been a powerful source of solace, relief, and thankfulness ever since.  Of course, I still need to understand it.

Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with you.
Blessed are you among women
and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
