Church buildings open for private prayer

Church buildings open for private prayer

The Government has announced that, beginning this week, our buildings may be open for private prayer, but not public worship.  This is a good beginning and we hope church members and the general public will avail themselves of this opportunity.  If you come, you will find a range of precautions to enable good hygiene and social distancing and there will be two church members on duty (do let us know if you can help for an hour or two in this regard).  It will be possible to light a votive candle and these will be supplied.  There are suggested prayers / readings on the website, but do bring your own copy of these or your own Bible or other resource with you.

For detailed schedule on on when the Churches under Merton Team Ministry are open, please refer to our weekly bulletin.

If you have any questions, do get in touch with Alison or Mark.

‘I was glad when they said to me, “let us go to the house of the Lord”‘ (Psalm 122).

Note: Regular Church Services are on hold until further notice
